Dear Returning Members of UACC,
We are so excited to announce on August 26 the new members of the University of Arkansas Children’s Choir! As you may have seen in our social media, we have expanded our organization to the river valley area, and we are so excited to welcome these new singers! Another wonderful change this year is that Ms. Rachel Cornett will be returning to the Northwest Arkansas area spearheading the expansion to the River Valley. We are thankful and excited that she is back, and we look forward to seeing the growth of this program.
In the next week we should be able to send out a registration link to register for the children’s choir. You will see two payment options: paying in full ($275) or 9 monthly payments of $35 (total $315 to cover the administrative cost in the music department). For other financial assistance, please email directly to uacc@uark.edu.
Once all parents of new UACC members have been notified, we will have a New Members Informational Meeting on Thursday, August 28 at 6:00pm. The London Informational Meeting should start around 7:00pm (same invite link – see below).
Information about the London 2026 trip is attached to this email, and will also be sent out in upcoming emails to our new members (apologies for overcommunicating!). The dates for the trip will be June 18-25, 2026, and if you’ve traveled with MCI before (like the Italy trip in 2024), you should have an account and you should be able to start the booking process.
*If you are already familiar with the booking process and are ready to start making plans, you are welcome to do so!*
